So, I called Apple yesterday and they were able to help me fix my desktop. They were not able to tell me what happened to it though. Oh well, now I just need to fix my laptop, but no rush there. I found out yesterday that with out a laptop I spend more time doing productive things. Like cleaning the house, taking K out for some fun, running errands and all that stuff. I hate being tethered to a desk all day, so the desktop will be used in the morning and at night. Go me! Also, I really think it will help cut down on the online shopping. Speaking of which, I haven't spent money on anything all week. The car seat and stroller were really the last things I bought. I even turned down two lunch dates. I also went into work yesterday, and told them that I was probably going to pick up some shifts soon, and then I re applied at a school close by. It's not my first choice, but, it has a broader selection of online courses, and it's on the quarter system. After I finish there I can transfer back to CSU or if we have moved GSU or KSU. Things are slowly moving towards the right direction.
On the downside, I have a doctors appointment today in Atlanta. I am really dreading it. I am not so much worried about the interstate as I am getting lost in Atlanta. The mapquest directions suck, so I'm leaving and hour and a half early. That way if I get lost.... well, you know.
Down to 1%. hope I can get the desk top working tomorrow,
My power cord finally caught on fire. I have about 45% left on my battery, and then it's dead. :( Hopefully my replacement cord will be here by next week. I am going to have B look at my iMac and see if he can figure out what is wrong with it...That way I wont be completly with out a computer. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

One more thing. I am computer illiterate. My email has stopped working. I can receive emails, but when I try to send one I get a message that says port 35 is blocked. My dsl people keep telling me to call apple, that it's an apple problem. blah blah blah. Apple tells me that it's a problem with the dsl people and to call them. If anyone has ever had problems with this, or (hopefully) know how to fix it please let me know.
